Your access to and use of our services is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our website and services.

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access our services.

1. Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our services.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access our services and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

You may not use as a username the name of another person or entity or that is not lawfully available for use, a name or trademark that is subject to any rights of another person or entity without appropriate authorization, or a name that is offensive, vulgar, or obscene.

2. Course Enrollment and Payment

By enrolling in courses offered by GameDev Academy Cyprus, you agree to pay the specified course fees as described on our website. All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processors.

2.1 Course Fees

Course fees are stated in Euro (€) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to change our course fees at any time, but such changes will not affect courses for which you have already enrolled and paid.

2.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment via major credit cards, bank transfers, and other payment methods as specified on our website. By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the designated payment method.

2.3 Refund Policy

Refunds are available according to the following conditions:

• Full refund if requested within 7 days of enrollment, provided you have not accessed more than 20% of the course content.
• 50% refund if requested between 8-14 days of enrollment, regardless of course progress.
• No refunds will be issued after 14 days from the date of enrollment.
• Special circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies, technical issues) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

To request a refund, you must submit a written request through our website's contact form or by directly emailing our support team.

3. Intellectual Property

3.1 Our Content

The content on our website and in our courses, including without limitation text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of GameDev Academy Cyprus or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our website and courses, except as follows:

• Your computer may temporarily store copies of such materials in RAM incidental to your accessing and viewing those materials.
• You may store files that are automatically cached by your Web browser for display enhancement purposes.
• You may print or download one copy of a reasonable number of pages of the website for your own personal, non-commercial use and not for further reproduction, publication, or distribution.
• If we provide social media features with certain content, you may take such actions as are enabled by such features.

3.2 Student Content

By submitting, posting, or displaying content on or through our services (including course projects, discussions, and forum posts), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute your content in any existing or future media formats.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own the content that you submit or post or you have the right to submit or post it;
• Your content does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyright, contractual rights, intellectual property rights, or any other rights of any person or entity;
• Your content does not contain any material that is defamatory, obscene, indecent, abusive, offensive, harassing, violent, hateful, inflammatory, or otherwise objectionable.

4. Course Access and Certificates

4.1 Access Period

Unless otherwise specified, upon enrollment and payment, you will have access to the course content for the duration specified in the course description. Some courses may offer lifetime access, while others may have a limited access period.

4.2 Certificates

Upon successful completion of a course (as defined by the specific course requirements), you may receive a certificate of completion. Certificates are issued electronically and may be printed or shared digitally.

GameDev Academy Cyprus reserves the right to withhold or revoke certificates if:

• We have evidence that your course completion was fraudulent;
• We have evidence that you violated our academic integrity standards;
• Your payment for the course was not completed or was refunded.

5. User Conduct

While using our services, you agree not to:

1. Use our services in any way that violates any applicable laws or regulations;
2. Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of our services;
3. Use our services to impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;
4. Interfere with or disrupt our services or servers or networks connected to our services;
5. Use any robot, spider, or other automatic device, process, or means to access our services for any purpose, including monitoring or copying any of the material on our services;
6. Introduce any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful;
7. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of our services, the server on which our services are stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to our services;
8. Attack our services via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack;
9. Share your account credentials with others or allow others to access your account;
10. Engage in academic dishonesty, including cheating, plagiarism, or falsification of course activities.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using our services or contact us to request account deletion.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall GameDev Academy Cyprus, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

1. Your access to or use of or inability to access or use our services;
2. Any conduct or content of any third party on our services;
3. Any content obtained from our services; and
4. Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

In jurisdictions where the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages is not allowed, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Disclaimer

Your use of our services is at your sole risk. Our services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We make no warranty that:

2. Our services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free;
3. The results that may be obtained from the use of our services will be accurate or reliable;
4. The quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through our services will meet your expectations.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Cyprus, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
